According to a tipster over on BoyGeniusReport.com, Motorola are gearing up to release their first Android phone – the Motorola Calgary.

The Motorola Calgary will apparently be available on the Verizon network and will feature a sliding QWERTY keyboard similar to the G1, along with being more focused towards social networking services.

Details on the Motorola Calgary are sketchy at best, and other than these renders/concept images there is little else known about the handset.
