Nearly a month after initially launching in Canada, TELUS’ HTC Desire is sold out, temporarily.  The phone, being sold for $79.99 on a 3-year contract, has been very successful for TELUS.

Never fear, my fellow Canadians, TELUS is promising that the new inventory will be coming shortly.  Also, they will be offering a $50 dollar mail-in rebate for those who have to wait.  That’s a pretty great deal, eh?

The TELUS HTC Desire ships with Android 2.1, a 3.7? WVGA display, 5MP camera with LED flash, 1 GHz Snapdragon CPU, and 576 MB RAM.
